SSO Setup

Single Sign-On (SSO) in SEiNG allows users to securely access SEiNG services with their existing organisational credentials. By integrating SSO, you can simplify login processes, enhance security, and improve user experience by eliminating the need for multiple passwords.

This setup ensures that authorised users can access their accounts while maintaining centralised control over authentication through Azure Active Directory.

SSO Setup

To enable Single Sign On functionality in SEiNG we require you to complete App Registration in Azure.

We will provide you with a callback URL and front-channel logout URL.
Note: this is not required at time of setup, but is required for SSO to function

Click new registration:

Provide a suitable name, and if we have provided you a callback URL, select web platform and add URL here:

register an application

You will be returned to the overview page, click on Add a Redirect URI:

Add the front-channel logout URL here:

Please ensure that “ID tokens” is checked:

implicit grant hybrid flows

Then click save to be taken back to the overview.

You have now completed the registration, please send the following to your Alert Data Contact:

Application (client) ID
Directory (tenant) ID
Secret Value

You have now setup a new application registration.
